my boss.. for the lack of better words.. is fucking
unreasonable..
she has a bunch of VCDs from other agencies, which show their stuff
with less contrast or something.. and somehow, the pixellation from
the VCD format is not as pronounced as ours.. simply because she
insisted on a lot of words and stuff...
she views the fucking thing on the computer monitor.. and it looks
bad.. so she spits the dummy...
thing is.. you view the goddamned thing on a tv monitor, it looks
good..
she cannot get it into her armoured skull that a computer monitor
is not a tv.. in fact, the DVD version on the computer monitor
looks worse than the VCD version on tv... but she does not want to
know about it and insists that it can be done!!
so, the cubicle warrior has to go try to sink the USS Ronald Reagan
armed with a BB gun..
her reason? where we go with this, they will be unable to see
properly... the senior management doesn't care about the technical
issues.. they just want to see a good one..
typical.. tell the poor sap working that he has $2 and he has to go
purchase a new server..
fuck.. what can the poor vendor do?
